The Experience

Curious to discover the real bikepacking experience? Strapping everything to your bike and getting lost in nature? Join us for our DirtyWeekender: an overnight bikepacking weekend. We sleep in tents and cook our food outdoors.

These trips are always with 1 overnight stay. We offer this experience for a group around 20 adventurers. To keep it cosy and offer the real bike packing experience.

The DirtyWeekender is the perfect event to discover how DirtyDropbars prefers to connect with nature through a bike adventure.

This is a guided adventure in a group ride. Back to basics, blending in the environment.

All camping equipment can be rented if you do not have it. (See below)

This is a back to basics bike packing trip, the real experience.
We sleep outdoors in tents.
Tent, sleeping bag and mat can also be rented. (optional)

This is an introduction trip. We plan mainly smooth riding surface. Nothing wild.
2 days / We ride 1 longer day en 1 shorter / 150 - 200 km total distance
It depends if we’re riding in Flanders or the Ardennes.
We provide a nutrition package for the full weekend. All included
Our dinner and breakfast are freeze dried meals . DirtyDropbars provides some cooking stoves.

DirtyWeekender is a bike packing micro event. An overnighter to spend with like minded bike adventurers. We want to inspire, encourage and support people to experience these adventures on an approachable way.

Bike packing has physically and mentally impacted us and our lifes for the better. It is our mission to share this positive impact with others.

This is a a back to basics experience to reconnect with the natural environment and your inner self.

Being outdoors for days and exposed to the power of nature brings you back to the essence of life. It makes you understand your own body and mind better. Because of the endless endorphins, you reach parts of your mind that you normally wouldn’t reach. The challenges you need to undergo are a part of it, embrace them.

Growth is the parallel that runs alongside you during a bike adventure.
